General Tso's  Tofu

Ingredients: –super firm tofu – nutritional yeast – soy sauce – water – garlic  ginger – green onions – rice vinegar – hoisin sauce – maple syrup – red pepper flakes

Break the tofu into chunks.

Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu.

Gently mix the tofu until it's coated with the cornstarch.

Bake at 400F for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, start the sauce.

Whisk everything and set aside.

Saute the garlic, ginger, and whites of the green onion.

Add the liquid to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens.

Remove the crispy tofu from the oven.

Add the tofu to the thickened sauce.

Stir until all of the tofu pieces are coated with the sauce.

Serve this delicious General Tso's Tofu with rice and veggies!
