Homemade Cashew Butter

Start by roasting the cashews at 325F for 10 minutes.

Add the cashews to a food processor and run on high.

First the cashews will transform to a coarse, flour-like grind.

As the cashews start to release their oils you will need to stop to scrape down the sides a few times.

Eventually a "dough" will form. This can take a few minutes so be patient!

The "dough" will soon transform to a "butter"-- but you're not quite done yet!

Run on high another 3 to 5 minutes for an extra smooth and creamy texture.

Perfect for spreading on toast, adding to dressings, and more!
