NO SWEAT VEGAN
A roundup
"Whether you're new to plant-based eating or you're just in a rut and need some new snack ideas, this list of healthy vegan snacks for kids is for you. Many of these are simple ideas, a few are recipes that can be made ahead, but they're all kid-approved!"

When I was a kid I ate a lot of cereal as a snack (and for lunch and dinner, if you must know). And while there are plenty of vegan cereals to choose from, a big batch of homemade granola can last up to two weeks and it's a much healthier alternative.
Vegan Zucchini Mini Muffins, Vegan Pumpkin Muffins, Vegan Blackberry Muffins, or Vegan Raspberry Muffins all make a great make-ahead breakfast, they are also perfect for an afternoon snack. They taste sweet, but you know they're made with healthy ingredients. Plus, they freeze well, so you can double the batch and freeze half for next week.
This one might seem like a no-brainer, but toast isn't just for breakfast! Some great toast combos include almond butter with banana slices and cinnamon or cashew butter with sliced strawberries and hemp seeds.
Smoothies and healthy popsicles are a great way to pack a ton of fruits, veggies, and protein into a sweet frozen snack. Frozen treats are perfect for warm summer days, but my kids like to eat them all year long!
